TRAINING
Referrals will be accepted from any concerned professional
family/friends or self-referral.
We aim to enable learning disabled people to:
- Speak up for themselves.
- Grow in confidence.
- Feel safe and be safe when out and about.
- Be safe at home.
- Make friends and support each other.
- Prepare for work.
- Know and understand their rights.

P.I.P. supports people with a learning disability through various crisis
such as physical/financial abuse, debt and parenting assessments.
The Training Team work alongside the People In Partnership Family and Crisis
Teams in supporting people to speak up.
People with a learning disability need and want to be taught skills and
given confidence building training so that they can cope better and be better
equipped to stop crisis occurring and reoccurring.
How we can help
Our training courses are specifically designed for people with a learning disability.
Training materials are prepared so they meet all access requirements.
The courses are easy to follow and understand, which aids retention of information.
We can develop and design courses and materials to meet specific areas of training needs.
Trainbing courses are very flexible and can be arranged to meet your requirements. For example, we can deliver training in two hour sessions or half and full day sessions.

The Training Team will deliver courses throughout the City of Birmingham and West Midlands Region.
