Who we are

The Family Team at P.I.P. have a Family Advocacy Worker and a Follow-on Family Advocacy Worker.

We understand that parents often find it difficult to express their views, understand proceedings and have little knowledge of their rights.

Parents can feel threatened and frightened by proceedings and the risk of losing their children. Parents can feel confused by the process, recommendations and decisions made in regard to their children. This can be challenging for anyone, but particularly parents with learning disabilities.

We provide advocacy support during and following child protection and care proceedings.
