- We support people with a learning disability.
- CRISIS means emergency and an emergency can mean ANYTHING that is affecting
their lives.
- Typical crisis are issues around housing, employment, court headings, police statements and solicitors.
We are not the voice of people with a learning disability...
but we make sure their voices are heard!
Most often people with a learning disability lack confidence and are unable to understand the procedures that they may face when they are in crisis.
These issues usually happen when our clients have to face meetings with professionals, have a problem with their housing needs, are meeting solicitors or have to attend court.
People with a learning disability feel threatened and frightened and are confused and isolated in these and other situations.
We are experienced in supporting our clients throughout these procedures in both explaining, in lay terms, what is happening and ensuring that the decisions that are made are in their best interests.

They can see people at a place where they feel happy to talk.
They keep things confidential and explain to others what our service users find difficult to say.
